ゲームに収録されている数千人の選手の中から1人を選び、2010シーズンを戦い抜く新モード「ワールドプレーヤー」を搭載。
ポジションは、FW、MFはもちろん、DFも選択可能。
実在の選手になりきって、クラブの目標達成のため、チームに貢献することで、選手のドラマを体験できます。
また、PS3版、Xbox360版と同じく、南米クラブ選手権「コパ・リベルタドーレス」モードを搭載。
今シーズンの同大会を戦った全40クラブも実名で収録しています。
